February 23 was a dreary Saturday, hardly auction weather. Yet despite the heavy rain keen purchasers attended Richard Matthews Real Estate’s Auctions. The result? All three Auctions ending in fantastic sales results, courtesy of a stellar sales team. The day started at 27 Lennartz Street, Croydon Park, a house attracting 16 registered bidders. After much spirited bidding the hammer came down at $1,010,000, an impressive $60,000 above the reserve price. Next a Torrens Title home at 34a Scott Street, Punchbowl attracted a lot of interest with four parties actively competing to the final sale price of $630,000. The third and final Auction sale of the day, an apartment at 129/14-16 Station Street, Homebush that the team sold for $447,000, much to the Vendor’s delight!
